Both the Traverse Round Vanish Bracket and the Round Scoop Vanish Bracket are designed for round rods and feature the same Vanish magnetic cover plate concealment system — but they are engineered for fundamentally different rod applications and are not interchangeable. The Round Scoop Vanish Bracket is designed for stationary round rods, where the rod is fixed in position and the drapery panels are hung from rings or clips that do not traverse. The Traverse Round Vanish Bracket is designed specifically for round traverse rods, where the rod must support a traversing mechanism — a cord-driven or hand-drawn system that moves the drapery panels along the rod from open to closed position. The traverse bracket incorporates the structural and dimensional provisions that traverse rod operation requires, and should always be specified when the installation involves a traversing drapery system on a round rod.

Backplate Specifications

All Traverse Round Vanish Bracket backplates are fabricated from 1/4″ thick solid material. For round traverse rods 1″ in diameter and larger, backplates measure 1½” x 4″. For round traverse rods under 1″ in diameter, backplates measure 1¼” x 3½”. All backplates are drilled and countersunk for #10 flat head screws — screws are not included. Projections are customized to your exact specifications on every order — standard projections are never assumed or substituted without direct consultation.
